How it works
These are planning estimates based on typical homes. Every household is different, so round up: running out of boxes on moving day is worse than having a few spare.
Use small boxes for heavy things like books so they stay liftable, and large boxes only for light, bulky items. Label each box on two sides with its room and contents. Typical sizes are about 16 × 12 × 12 in (small), 18 × 18 × 16 in (medium) and 18 × 18 × 24 in (large).
Results are estimates based on typical industry values. Confirm final specifications with your supplier or carrier.
