How it works
The calculator uses typical internal dimensions: about 5.90 × 2.35 × 2.39 m for a 20 ft container and 12.03 m long for a 40 ft, with the high cube 30 cm taller. It finds the best single-orientation grid for your carton.
Real loads often fit a few more by turning the last rows, or a few less because of door clearance and loading practice. Heavy goods can hit the payload limit long before the container is full, and road weight limits in some countries are lower still. What is the difference between a 40 ft and a 40 ft high cube?
The high cube is about 30 cm (1 ft) taller inside, adding roughly 12% more volume.
