How it works
Bottles are safest when each one sits in its own cell so they never touch. Each cell is the bottle diameter plus a little clearance; partitions sit between cells, and padding goes around the whole grid and above and below the bottles.
Measure the widest point of the bottle, usually the shoulder or the base, not the label area. For glass, use at least an inch of padding and consider molded pulp or foam trays instead of plain partitions. Shipping alcohol or liquids may have extra carrier requirements, so check before you send.

How do I ship glass bottles safely?
Give each bottle its own cell, pad at least an inch above and below, and fill the box so nothing moves when shaken.
What size box holds 6 wine bottles?
Typical 750 ml wine bottles are about 3 to 3.25 inches wide and 12 inches tall, so a 3 × 2 layout needs roughly 12 × 8 × 14 inches inside with partitions and padding. Enter your bottle to check.
